Requirements
To be considered for any School of Business scholarship, you must be admitted as a degree-seeking student and be coded as a Pre-Business or Business Upper Division student. Incoming freshmen and transfer students must complete the application for admissions to the University by the priority filing deadline of December 1, 2011. The application for admission can be found at the University of Utah's Admissions website.
Some scholarships are dependent on financial need and are awarded to students who have completed the University of Utah Financial Aid application process.
Selection Criteria
All scholarships are awarded based on academic excellence, leadership, and civic activities. Academic scholarships for students entering college from high school are based on high school course selection/grades and ACT or SAT scores (no preference). Scholarships for transfer students are based on coursework as reported on the University of Utah Summary of Transfer Credit. Scholarships for current University of Utah students are awarded based on the University of Utah unofficial transcript and, if applicable, the University of Utah Summary of Transfer Credit.
Students who submit a complete application by the deadline of February 1, 2012 will be notified of the scholarship committee’s decision by April 20, 2012. Current students and transfer students will receive notification via their University of Utah e-mail account. Incoming freshmen will receive notification by mail.
Selection of recipients is made by the School of Business Scholarship Committee. Please review the information carefully to ensure your application receives full consideration.
