PhD Program
The David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah offers a doctor of philosophy program in business administration through its School of Accounting and Information Systems, and Departments of Finance, Management and Marketing.
The PhD Program prepares students for faculty positions at leading research universities through the development of specialized knowledge necessary to conduct scholarly research and to be effective teachers. Each program is tailored to the individual student's interests and supervised by faculty who specialize in their field. Four or five years of full-time study are generally required.
College graduates from all disciplines are encouraged to apply. An advanced degree is not required.
