EMBA Council
EMBA Council Member
The University of Utah Executive MBA program is a member of the Executive MBA Council (www.emba.org). The council supports its members in fostering excellence and innovation in Executive MBA Programs worldwide by providing outstanding educational and networking opportunities for professionals who deliver Executive MBA Programs. In addition, the Executive MBA Council sponsors several research initiatives. The data helps schools understand student preferences and benchmark their practices. ROI research will help show what the degree really means to students and their organizations.
Formed in 1981 as a part of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), the EMBA Council's mission is to foster excellence and innovation in executive and professional graduate business degree programs worldwide. In 2000, the EMBA Council assumed responsibility for its own administrative support and reorganized around the organization's core competencies - to educate, network and inform.
The Executive MBA Council is guided by an elected board of trustees. Brad Vierig, Assistant Dean of the University of Utah Executive MBA program, is currently serving as Chair of the board of trustees. To learn more about the Executive MBA Council visit the website at www.emba.org.
