In partnership with the David Eccles School of Business, the Salt Lake Chamber, and the Deseret News, it is our pleasure to invite you to our next Economic Club of Utah event: “The 2014 Economic Opportunity Forum.”

The forum will share ideas that expand economic opportunities for our community and our society. This first event will focus on the importance of first generation college students. Forum is November 12 at 11:30 a.m. in the SFEBB building.

Paul Edwards, Editor of the Deseret News will introduce the topic. We will then be honored to have four distinguished speakers joining us to speak on this topic:

  • David W. Pershing, President of The University of Utah
  • Michael M. Crow, President of Arizona State University
  • Kim Clark, President of Brigham Young University-Idaho
  • Deneece Huftalin, President of Salt Lake Community College

The discussion will be moderated by Taylor Randall, Dean of the David Eccles School of Business. We hope you will be able to join us for this worthwhile event, one that will recognize the significant economic impact in creating new opportunities for first generation college graduates.
