The Eccles School and the International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) office have collaborated to develop the Eccles International Ambassador program to assist Eccles students in creating friendships with students from other countries.
International students often face challenges unique to their population. Providing a social, cultural and academic support structure is paramount to their success. As the Eccles School continues to develop learning abroad programs, recruit international students and expand their programs globally, a global mindset has developed amongst students looking to expand their knowledge base of other cultures.
As an Eccles International Ambassador, you will work with incoming international students, assist with cultural and academic adjustment, and have fun learning about their cultural experiences. All Ambassadors are awarded a $500 scholarship for their position, which runs from March 2016 to February 2017.
