Business Education. Military Dedication.
Commitment
The David Eccles School of Business honors the achievements of the men and women who have served in our armed forces. In honoring those achievements, the skills earned through military service will be heavily considered throughout the application process. To compete for your graduate education and to get a true understanding of a military applicant's abilities, the David Eccles School of Business will consider military work experience and leadership roles in the application process.
Community
A veteran's time at the David Eccles School of Business will allow opportunities to make a difference and help the school grow. We value your insight and have developed a Veterans Council to give our veterans a voice. Couple the Veterans Council with the social gatherings of our veteran's community and you will establish and grow relationships that will last a lifetime and truly make your educational experience your own.
Understanding
The David Eccles School of Business knows and understands the specific needs of our military and veteran student body. The University of Utah strives to make this difficult transition as smooth as possible through the use of veteran student ambassadors—men and women who have made the transition from military to student themselves—and a variety of financial programs and benefits (such as yellow ribbon).
Family
The David Eccles of Business understands that for every successful service member there is a strong and supportive family standing by. Knowing this, the University of Utah strives to support the families of the men and women who serve by giving them the same tuition benefits as active duty members. There are also specialized scholarship opportunities available just to veterans.
