Master of Science in Finance

Group of UVF students

University Venture Fund

The University Venture Fund (UVF) is the largest student-run venture fund in the country. It offers students the opportunity to work alongside premier venture capital firms and entrepreneurs across the nation.

The Master of Science in Finance (MSF) program is designed to prepare students for successful careers in financial management and investment management. Completion of the program requires 31.5 semester credits, and well prepared students can complete the MSF in as little as nine months.

The program offers preparation for the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification. Students receive the certification after passing three levels of testing administered by the CFA Institute, and the MSF program includes two courses that cover material in the Level I and Level II CFA exams.

The David Eccles School of Business finance faculty is among the nation's best, and was recently ranked in the top 20 nationally for research output. Our professors are changing how the world thinks about finance; come let them show you some new ways to think.
