Academics
Admission to the David Eccles School of Business Master of Healthcare Administration program is competitive.
Students must apply and be admitted to a "home program" --- the Master's of Business Administration, Master's of Public Health, or Master's of Public Administration. The MHA can be taken as a joint degree only.
The successful applicant must possess a solid healthcare background as well as excellent analytical, quantitative and writing skills. Applicants should hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited U.S. college or university (or an international equivalent). Work experience in the healthcare industry is strongly recommended. Applicants must have an undergraduate GPA of greater than 3.0, and must complete the standardized exam (GMAT or GRE) required by the home program. International applicants may also be required to take the TOEFL.
