Graduate Business Student Association
The Graduate Business Student Association is a student run organization dedicated to graduate business student’s interests. The GBSA serves numerous roles such as transferring relevant information from the school to the students and taking students concerns to the decision makers within the David Eccles School of Business. In addition the GBSA, with sponsorship of the deans, hosts numerous events for the students of the graduate business programs and their families. These events serve to bring the student community together and provide networking opportunities. All students in the Graduate Business Programs are already a part of the GBSA and are encouraged to take advantage of the opportunities provided on their behalf.
Planning and decisions in the GBSA are made by a six person committee of full time second year MBA students. The committee consists of two co-chairs and four other chairs that together oversee GBSA operations. Elections are held near the end of the academic year for six first year MBA students to take over the reigns of the GBSA. Contact information for current GBSA officers can be found on the Know your GBSA page.
