The David Eccles School of Business is committed to providing the very best education for its students at an affordable price. Our tuition and fees have been, and will continue to be, lower than many other schools around the country; however, in order to ensure that our programs continue to meet the need of our students and prepare them for the business world and graduate education, we must raise our fees.
Beginning fall semester of 2005 intermediate and upper division students will be assessed a program fee of $50.00/semester. The new business undergraduate program fee will enable us to enhance our student services. A number of new initiatives will have immediate impact for our students including:
* more extensive advising for intermediate students, an expanded orientation program designed to assist students in planning coursework to support their career objectives,
* job clubs to help students identify and prepare for the challenging recruiting process of top employers, and
* coordination of the many experience-enriched learning opportunities available to business students.
Our goal in instituting this fee is to continue to prepare our students to be the most educated and experienced business professionals in the country.
