Board Fellows is a service learning program that enables MBA and MPA students to serve as ex-officio members on local nonprofit boards of directors, following an in-depth application and matching process. As Fellows, students spend 6-10 hours each month, depending on student availability and organizational need, working closely with a board mentor, attending board meetings, serving on a board or adhoc committee, and participating in special events and projects as needed. Board Fellows act as non-voting, ex-officio members of the board.
