Honors Business Program
| Honors Class Schedule | Current Events | A Sampling of Theses |
The Honors Business Program at the David Eccles School of Business provides the opportunity for students to take advanced classes with this school’s top professors. Students participating in the HBP can expect smaller class sizes, allowing a stronger relationship to develop between student and professor. Honors tracks are available in each major within the David Eccles School of Business. The program prepares students to be competitive on a national level for jobs and graduate programs. In an honors student's senior year they will write a thesis on a topic of their choice within their major. Participation in the thesis process develops analytical, research, and writing skills while demonstrating mastery within the discipline.
A Letter from Honors Business Chair Bryan Bonner
Dear Student,
The Honors Program at the David Eccles School of Business offers an engaging and challenging course of study. This program is only available to the most able and dedicated students, allowing them to distinguish themselves through their ability and dedication to the advancement of knowledge. As such, we exclusively target and admit only the very best of potential applicants. Our small community of students, professors, and staff work together to provide a deep learning experience for all involved. We encourage students to both excel in their academic pursuits and to immerse themselves into the rich and growing culture of the honors group. Honors students enjoy smaller class sizes, more challenging coursework, research opportunities with dedicated faculty, and personal attention from staff and professors. Please contact us to find out more about the DESB Honors Program.
Sincerely,
Bryan L. Bonner, Ph.D.
