Specializations
The five departments in the David Eccles School of Business offer seven possible areas of study for doctoral students: Accounting, Information Systems, Production/Operations Management, Finance, Strategic Management/Business Policy, Organizational Behavior/Human Resource Management, and Marketing. The PhD coursework in these specializations depends on each student's area of interest and research.
At the time of application, students must select an area of specialization.
Students are considered on the basis of their choice of field and may not apply to more than one area of specialization. A faculty member from each area serves as a PhD Program Committee Representative.
