Markus Vodosek is an Assistant Professor of Management at the David Eccles School of Business. He received his PhD at the University of Michigan Business School where he also taught undergraduate and MBA courses in Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management. Professor Vodosek's research interests include the dynamics of interpersonal relationships in organizations, conflict management, cultural diversity, and social networks in organizations. His dissertation won the 2001 Pitney Bowes Award for Outstanding PhD Thesis in the Field of Diversity from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and placed second in the 2000 INFORMS/Organization Science Dissertation Proposal Competition. Before pursuing his academic career, professor Vodosek worked as a marketing executive for a German publishing company. He received an undergraduate engineering degree from the Hochschule der Medien in Stuttgart, Germany, and an MBA from Portland State University in Oregon.
