Teresa M. Pavia is an Associate Professor of marketing at the David Eccles School of Business, University of Utah. She received a M.S. (1978) and Ph.D. (1981) in Mathematical Statistics, both from the University of Maryland. Before coming to the University of Utah in 1988 she taught for two years in the School of Management at Georgia Tech. She has been recognized for her strong teaching skills. Professor Pavia has also been an active researcher in product management (e.g., new product development, consumer behavior and pricing) and in the intersection of consumer behavior and health care. Among her publications are articles in the Journal of Consumer Research, the Journal of Marketing and Management Science.
