Gautam Pant, is as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Operations and Information Systems. His current research focuses on online visibility, web mining, and business intelligence. He has worked as a software engineer for Computer Associates-TCG (India), and has pursued research projects in collaboration with groups at NEC Labs (Princeton) and GlaxoSmithKline R&D (King of Prussia). His research appears in ACM Transactions on Information Systems, IEEE Transactions on Knowledge and Data Engineering, ACM Transactions on Internet Technology, and Information Retrieval. He received his PhD in Business Administration (Information Systems) from the University of Iowa in 2004.
