Lisa K. Buffmire

Ms. Buffmire has been an executive career and change management consultant for over 15 years working with Fortune 500 companies. She has coached hundreds of managers, executives, and others through assessment, resume development, strategic job search, interviewing, and negotiations. Ms. Buffmire is known for presenting dynamic workshops and seminars on career related topics including networking, negotiations, leadership development, and entrepreneurship.

Ms. Buffmire’s professional history includes career consulting for boutique companies CSG Partners in Kansas, OCM Inc., locally, and for a global leader Right Management. She has also worked in business administration for American Express International in England, and the International School of Brussels in Belgium, and for a local consulting firm Leadership Development Inc. She has served on several non-profit boards and holds an MBA and BFA from the University of Utah.

Janet Haskell

Ms. Haskell became a professional career coach after serving 20 years in corporate leadership positions. She was president of Myriad Genetic Laboratories 1995-1998 and previously was corporate vice president and general manager of Glaxo SmithKline where she spent 17 years. Janet has been a career coach for the last 10 years, advising hundreds of professionals about job search and career development strategies. She has worked as executive career consultant for DBM, a global outplacement firm providing career transition services to Fortune 500 clients since 2001. Janet is also a business adviser and board member of Sera Prognostics, Inc., a medical start-up company with technology licensed from University of Utah and BYU.

Janet received her MBA in international management from Thunderbird School of Global Management in Arizona. In addition to professional interests, she mentored MBA students at Westminster College for five years and currently serves the community as a board member of the Humane Society of Utah and Emigration Township Planning Commission. Janet is a former member of the following boards: Utah Museum of Natural History, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Utah, and Planned Parenthood of Utah. She is also former chairman of the Salt Lake City Chapter of SCORE (Service Corps of Retired Executives) and former president of the Utah Thunderbird Alumni Chapter.

Tom Stringham

Mr. Stringham is the managing director of the University Venture Fund and a director in the ROTH Capital Partners Corporate Finance Group. Prior to joining ROTH, Mr. Stringham worked in the Investment Banking Division of Merrill Lynch & Co. in New York, where he worked with companies in diverse industries, such as paper and forest products, transportation, consumer products, apparel, and electronics. He also worked with Merrill Lynch & Co. as a specialist with expertise in private equity transactions, alternative investment, and asset allocation strategies.

Mr. Stringham is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate from the University of Utah, where he also served as a member of the University Board of Trustees. Mr. Stringham's MBA is from Harvard Business School.
